Sleepy Hollow Beach sits just south of the center of town in Laguna Beach.

You’ll find a beach access stairway on Sleepy Hollow Lane. Look for it just south of the signal at Legion and Pacific Coast Hwy. The Pacific Edge Hotel over looks this popular area so expect to see hotel guests enjoying the beach.

With a mostly sandy bottom and shore break surf conditions, Sleepy Hollow Beach is popular with both swimmers and body surfers. A reef at the southern end provides excellent waves if you’re bodyboarding, but swimmers should stay away.

Note that there are several submerged rocks and the rocky reef towards the southern part of the Pacific Edge. Beware of rip currents. They can form near the southern reef and down the remainder of the beach.

Be aware that there are no public restroom facilities at this beach. But, it is just a short walk down to the Main Beach where you will find several. Parking nearest to Sleepy Hollow beach is the metered parking on Pacific Coast Highway.

When you visit this area follow all local guidelines. That means: do not collect, remove or disturb any of the marine life. All collecting or removing of rocks, shells, or marine life is prohibited. And, fishing is not allowed at this beach.
